Hi. Welcome.
I made this website when I first ran for Chester Heights Borough Council in 2017 to help voters learn about me and my platform.
I didn't win.
So, what's a girl to do?
In 2018, I refocused and started on a new career path at the University of Delaware.
I also co-founded Chester Heights Neighbors Alliance to help inform, engage, and advocate for residents in our borough. In 2019, I ran for council one more time, and this time lost by only 17 votes. In 2020, I became a vice-chair of the local Mid-County Democratic Committee representing Chester Heights.
In 2021 there will be another election for council and I have yet to decide if I am willing to subject myself the assault on my character that is often unleashed by the opposition.
I will continue to attend council meetings, to ask questions of council (that often remain unanswered) and work on encouraging folks to engage locally.
I attend the monthly council meetings and share my notes. Notes from Dec 2019 - Sept 2020 are located on the Chester Heights Neighbors Alliance website and here for all future meetings.
If you are interested in having a local government that is balanced (including the budget), is focused on our residents, and respects our natural resources especially our land. I encourage you to contact me and get involved in the community.
